Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk mendidik siswa agar selalu mengenang jasa pahlawan yang telah berjuang untuk kemerdekaan. Petugas upacara adalah pengurus OSIS Avicenna yang telah ditunjuk oleh pembina OSIS, Ubaidillah, M.Pd. sehari sebelumnya. Peserta upacara mengikuti seluruh rangkaian upacara dengan tertib.Petugas upacara melaksanakan tugasnya dengan baik.
